FRES in Burkina Faso

FRES_in_burkina_faso_screenIn Burkina Faso FRES is active in the province of Kénédougou. The decision to start up a FRES company in the province of Kénédougou in Burkina Faso was a logical step as it is the province that borders the province of Sikasso in Mali. The experiences gained at Yeelen Kura can be used here. Furthermore, the living conditions in Koutiala and Kénédougou are very similar. More than 98% of the households have no access to electricity and are dependent on oil lamps, lamps on batteries, etc.

On 28 July 2009 the first client was connected.
