FRES in Guinea-Bissau

Guinea-Bissau is one of the poorest countries in the world and has 1.5 million inhabitants. Only 2.6% of the population has access to electricity. Most of these people live in the biggest cities.

FRES would like to start a FRES company in Gabú, a province in the east of Guinea-Bissau that borders on Senegal and Guinea. The headquaters will be located in Gabú. If all goes according to plan, we will connect the first clients to a SHS late 2012.

  • Target

The target of FRES Guinea-Bissau is to conncet 3,000 clients within 4 years. We expect to connect the first clients end of 2012.
